Amber Waves founders have extensive military backgrounds and high level contacts within the armed forces. We have an understanding of existing and future needs for products and services to equip and support our nation's warriors.

The United States military has an annual budget of over $600 billion. The majority of this is spent with a small number of major defense contractors but there are many opportunities for medium and small businesses to participate as subcontractors or to sell directly to each of the services.

We offer several unique approaches for small and medium size busineses that wish to sell to the military.

For direct sales to individual services we introduce our clients at flag officer level and use these initial meetings to establish credibility with lower levels who will evaluate products and services and make purchase recommendations. We use our understanding of the military budget process to insure funding for recommended purchases.

For subcontracting through major defense contractors we provide high level contacts to introduce our clients. On major defense contracts the prime contractors are obligated to set aside a precentage for small businesses and they are always seeking qualified suppliers.
